An update on Cleo's kittens. Last week Cleo decided 7 kittens were too many for her to look after and went on strike refusing to feed or look after her kittens. So after 24 hours of us feeding the kittens for her and keeping them clean and warm, we decided to see if Boo would take one. As Boo's kittens are 5 weeks older we picked the biggest of the litter and brought him down stairs. All of Cleo's Bengal kittens are gaining weight and have lovely spotty coats.

It's great to see such a contented group of kittens Cleo is doing a wonderful job of feeding them.

Some already have their eyes open and the rest will soon follow.

Many of our kittens have been placed all over the United Kingdom in homes that have dogs, young children and more. They seem happy to adjust to any situation and bring love and laughter to their families that adore them.

These fantastic kittens are advancing with leaps and bounds. They do not want to be outdone by each other and are already they are running amok in the nursery, playing and pouncing, investigating food bowls and learning to use a litter tray. Some aren’t quite ready to eat solid food yet but it will be any day now. More photos of the Bengal kittens are available here.

The kittens are a lot like aspiring gymnasts - constantly practicing balancing routines, leaps, jumps and feats of athleticism. All of this energy and activity is important to the growing kitten's physical and mental development.
They also like posing.

Regular brushing & nail clipping will help to ensure that your kitten is acclimatised to the process.
This is also the time when whiskers sometimes disappear!  Along with their toys, the kittens often find it a fun sport
to chew on each other’s whiskers. Not to worry, unlike the toy  mouse tails that disappear, the whiskers will grow back!
