*******************************
We are pleased to announce that both our queens Champion Nevaeh Bhupali and Champion Everso-Pretty have tested normal for Pyruvate kinase deficiency (PK Def). This means that there is no chance any kittens from them will have this condition.
All the studs we use are also tested Normal this means that our kittens are FREE of this dreadful diseasePK Deficiency is a genetic condition known in the Bengal breed (as well as some others) which causes anaemia in affected cats, including sometimes a severe form of anaemia which can be life threatening. More information on PK Deficiency
Some cats are carriers of the disease and therefore have no symptoms, but offspring can be affected. This is why it is important to test breeding cats.
